Job Description

Join Dor L'Dor – A Charity Supporting Families with Heart
Are you a people-person who`s as organised as you are warm-hearted?
Do you love turning plans into action and supporting incredible causes?
Dor L'Dor is on the lookout for an exceptional Administrator – someone who’s not just efficient, but inspired.

About Us
At Dor L'Dor, we’re on a mission to support parents and families through one of life’s most important (and sometimes most challenging) journeys. Our parenting courses, workshops, and community events are changing lives – and we need a passionate, thoughtful, and capable administrator to help us keep the magic going behind the scenes.

This isn’t just admin – it’s impact.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the steady hand that keeps everything flowing – from communications to calendars, from budgets to bookings. You’ll be working closely with our small, dedicated team and supporting facilitators and volunteers to help deliver projects that truly matter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the friendly and professional first point of contact for emails and calls
  • Help plan and coordinate events, workshops, and parenting courses
  • Liaise with guest speakers, facilitators, and venues with warmth and clarity
  • Keep our calendars, timelines, and project plans up to date
  • Manage payments, invoices, and simple financial tracking
  • Maintain organised records and support reporting and funding requirements
  • Spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements – we value your ideas!
  • Pitch in wherever needed – we’re a team that rolls up its sleeves together

Experience and skills Required

We’re looking for more than just a task-ticker – we want someone who cares. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:

  • A natural organiser with excellent attention to detail
  • A confident communicator, both written and spoken
  • Friendly, empathetic, and at ease with people from all walks of life
  • Tech-comfortable – especially with email, spreadsheets, and simple cloud systems
  • Happy working independently but always a team player
  • Excited by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives
  • Experience in the charity, education, or care sectors is a bonus – but heart, initiative, and reliability are what matter most.
